The warm welcome from the staff and the beautiful view from the room were standout features. Abundant supply of good-quality tea and coffee added to the comfort. cleanliness issues in the bathroom, including mould and cobwebs, were disappointing. Some public areas appeared tired, and breakfast options lacked taste.

cosy atmosphere, nice decor, lovely view outside
The cleanliness could definitely use attention!!! A few long dead spiders and dust are hardly welcoming. Plus, the lack of temperature control means a chilly stay during evenings—definitely not ideal!!!

Had an amazing time! The food was absolutely delicious—especially the pudding! 🍰 One drawback was the room’s chilly temperature. a lovely stay!

The double rooms offer some solid space, particularly the Deluxe Double Room, featuring two comfortable chairs for lounging after a long day. The area has a distinct charm with characterful decor that adds warmth to the stay, making it feel more like a cozy retreat than just a pit stop.
Wifi connectivity suffered from noticeable variability, dropping out at times which could be frustrating for any tech-savvy traveler. I also noticed a slight stickiness on the floors and bannisters, perhaps from spills, which might not bother everyone but gave a less-than-pristine feeling.

We had a lovely stay with great breakfasts that fueled our hiking adventures and enjoyed the cozy vibe of the pub in the evenings. The sun terrace was perfect for relaxing with a drink, and we loved the spacious garden area too. Just a heads up, the carpet in our room had a small hole, but overall it didn’t take away from our experience. 😊

Friendly staff, comfortable room, the food was varied and cooked to perfection, with a quieter area to eat when the bar was busy.
Couldn't ask for more.

My stay at Kestor Inn was delightful. The One-Bedroom Suite offered stunning views and a spacious feel. Breakfast impressed me, freshly cooked to perfection. A minor suggestion would be to improve bathroom heating for early risers like me. I’ll definitely return for more local ales.

kestor inn is a great lil country pub right by dartmoor. stayed for just one night n it was super comfy! the full english breakfast was def a highlight. The wifi was solid for my work. the locals were friendly and the staff made me feel right at home. really enjoyed my time here!
only thing that could be better is parking could be tricky if it's busy. and maybe a slightly wider menu would be nice!

It was a great match for a weekend excursion in Manaton with reasonable value. The room had a nice touch but smelled a bit musky. A tip for future visitors is to ask for extra toiletries upon arrival to avoid running out during your stay.
